Tur Budaya 2019

On the first day of Tur Budaya 2019, I came to Husein Sastranegara International Airport at around 10.00 WIB. Not too long after I arrived, I had lunch with food given by school in the airport. My classmates and I were scheduled to leave Bandung at 13.15 WIB. There flight was delayed because the runway was used for VIP group that arrived there. The plane took off at around 13.40 WIB. I slept during the flight. I woke up around 30 minutes before the plane landed. The plane landed at Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali at around 16.10 WITA. This airport located in southern Bali, around 13 km from Denpasar. This airport is the third busiest airport in Indonesia. After that, we took our luggage and other belongings and headed to our bus. We are scheduled to go to Tanah Lot, but because the time insufficient, it was postponed on the last day in Bali. After that, we headed to Jimbaran Beach to have dinner. There is a lot of restaurant there. We had dinner at A'roma restaurant. Before we ate our meal, we took some photos there. But when we were enjoying our meal, suddenly the rain fell. We came back to our bus and went straight to the hotel to have a rest. we arrived at our hotel, Quest Hotel, at around 21.00 WITA.

On the second day, we had our breakfast at around 06.00 WITA. After we had our breakfast, we headed to our first destination, Tanjung Benoa at around 07.30 WITA. We can try some water sports there. We arrived at Tanjung Benoa around 9.00 WITA. We prepared to try some watersports there. I only visited turtle island near Tanjung Benoa. We went to the Turtle Islan using motor boat. There is a turtle conservation there. Not only turtle, there is some other animals there. After visiting Turtle islan, I came back to Tanjung Benoa to regroup with my friend. After that, we headed to our next destination, Pandawa Beach. On the way to that place, we stopped for a while at Pujamandala, the worship centre of five religion. After that, we continued our journey to Pandawa Beach. This beach is located between two huge cliff. Because of that, this beach often considered as a secret beach. After visiting Pandawa Beach, we headed to Garuda wisnu Kencana, a statue that depict the God of Wisnu, riding Garuda. This place is around 40 km from Denpasar. After that, we watched Devdan Show which located at ITDC Complex Nusa Dua. Then we went back to the hotel.

On the third day, we had our breakfast at around 06.30 WITA. Then we went to our first destination. Our first destination on the third day was Tirta Empul. Tirta Empul is a Hindu Temple that famous for its holy water. There is 13 holy water shower. In this place, there was a lot of Hindu people that do their worship activity. After visiting this Hindu Temple, we continued our journey to Kintamani to have our lunch.We arrived at Kintamani restaurant. This restaurant is the only one restaurant in kintamani that has halal sertificate from Ulama Council of Indonesia. We enjoyed 25 menus that served there. Then, we prayed in the praying room of that restaurant. We visited Penglipuran Traditional Village after that. This Village is famous because this village still conservating the traditional culture of Bali in their daily activity. The architecture and the land management of this village still based on the Tri Hita Karana concept, the philosophy of  the relationship balance among God, Mankind, and their environment. When we were enjoying the beauty of this village, suddenly the rain fell. We had to enjoy this village from the house of villagers. After that we went back to our hotel to be prepared for the gathering night of our school which was held in Nirmala Hotel near the Quest Hotel. We dressed in hippie themed clothes, sang a song, and played together. There were many doorprizes given there, such as smartphone, powerbank, and shopping vouchers.

On the fourth day, as usual, we had breakfast at around 06.00 WITA. But, before breakfast time, we had to pack our clothes and belongings because we had to leave the hotel after breakfast. After we had breakfast, we headed to Kuta Beach. This beach is suitable for surfer, beacause the wave of this beach is good for surfing. This beach is surrounded with 5 star hotel, restaurants, villas, and malls. We roamed this beach while took pictures. After that, we visited a mall that located near this beach. Then, we returned to our bus to head to Krisna to buy some Bali souvernirs. We had our lunch at the same place. Because we haven't went to Tanah Lot on the first day, we headed to Tanah Lot after we had our lunch. The trip took about 2 hours from. After visiting Tanah Lot, we headed to Ulun Danu Temple, Bedugul. This temple is used for offering ceremony for Godess Danu, Godess of water, danau, and river. Then we continued our journey to Gilimanuk Port to cross to Ketapang Port. On the way there, we stopped at Kenanga Singaraja Restaurant to have dinner.

We crossed the Bali Strait using Ferry Boat that can carry busses and other vehicles. After arriving in Ketapang Port, we headed to Surabaya.  We stopped for a while at Bromo Asri Restaurant, Probolinggo to take a shower and have breakfast. After that, we continued our journey to Surabaya. On the trip to Surabaya, we spent our time with sleeping and watching film. Finally, we arrived in Surabaya. Our bus went straight to Suramadu National Bridge that cross the Madura Strait. This bridge is the longest bridge in Indonesia. When we arrived in bangkalan, Madura, we stopped for a while in the souvenir shop to buy some souvenirs. Then, we headed to Gubeng Station, Surabaya. On the way there, we stopped at Warung Wulan to have lunch. After that we continued our journey. We used Turangga Train no. 49 to come back home. The train started to move at around 16.30 WIB and arrived at Bandung Station at around 05.40 WIB on the next day. After arriving in Bandung, I headed to my home.
